Parents / Athletes,
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you
to the Elizabeth High School Girls’ Soccer Program. We currently have full Varsity and Junior Varsity
Teams. Our main goal for every season is for both levels of the program to be competitive in every game that we play
and at the Varsity Level. Our main goal for the Season 2012-1013 is to win the Mountain Division and make
the NJ State Tournament for the third (3) time in school history and reach the finals in the Union County
Tournament. In order to accomplish this goal, we need dedicated players who will be expected to exhibit a student-athlete
mentality. First and foremost, we want our players to excel in the classroom. After school, our players need to
show that same work ethic on the soccer field in order to ensure a successful season. We
are returning many starters from the 2011 team, which gives the Minutemen high expectations for the 2012-2013 season.
Our Junior Varsity team also made tremendous strides this season as well as our Middle School Selective Team. The
Junior Varsity team had key victories versus Rahway, Bayonne and Linden, which showed that we were competitive throughout
the season. The following links will provide you with information on
every aspect of the program. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you for your
interest in the Elizabeth High School Girls’ Soccer Program.

What is Team?
Simply stated, it is less me and more we.
Teamwork divides the task and doubles the success.
Wearing the same shirt does not make a team.
In our team, if we win no one gets the credit and if we lose no one gets the blame.
Team is everything, and without it we are nothing.
What is Leadership?
Making people around you better. Captains in our teams have to have leadership qualities.
